We would like to allay any concerns that parents may have surrounding the Fire Risk Assessment and the construction of Holy Trinity in light of the recent fire in Grenfell House London.

The building is made of substantial reinforced concrete sections that were prefabricated off site before being assembled.

Below you can see an example of one of the sections at the fabrication facility and then some views of Holy Trinity during the construction phase where the substantial nature of the sections is well illustrated.

We have no external metal cladding products at all at Holy Trinity.  The school has active fire (smoke and heat) detection systems and associated sprinklers throughout  – in every toilet, classroom storage space and so on.

The most recent Fire Risk Assessment was undertaken in January 2017 for the Local Authority, and we continue to undertake termly evacuations.
