The Holy Trinity bees have produced a bumper crop of honey this season.  The final total is in the region of 51kg (or 113lbs) – which is far in excess of recent reports around the country of average yields of 24lbs as a result of our unforgettable (and wet) summer.

It isn’t just honey that the bees produce in excess –  pupils have also been utilizing the natural beeswax to make candles, blocks of beeswax for polishing and lip balm! These will go on sale at the Christmas Fair, and from Reception in due course.
