Like every other school, Holy Trinity has a governing body consisting of volunteers appointed in terms of the Instrument of Governance dated 22 October 2012.  All governors are encouraged to take an active part in the life and governance of the school and the core of their role and legal responsibility is:

  • Ensuring that the vision, ethos* and strategic direction of the school are clearly defined
  • Ensuring that the head teacher performs his or her responsibilities for the educational performance of the school
  • Ensuring the sound, proper and effective use of the school’s financial resources

*The school is conducted in accordance with the canon law and teachings of Roman Catholic Church and the teachings of the Church of England in partnership with the churches at parish/deanery and diocesan levels.

Holy Trinity is a learning community providing Catholic and Church of England education for all.
